Implications of de-authorization

  • You can no longer open Truly inside Google Meet until the extension is reinstalled.
  • New authentication sessions cannot be created from Meet until reinstall.
  • Existing historical results already generated in your Truly workspace may remain available for compliance/audit needs.

Data handling after removal

  • Removing the extension stops new Meet-triggered data collection from that browser profile.
  • If you also want previously collected session data deleted, contact support at support@truly.ws and include your workspace details.

Troubleshooting

  • Load unpacked not shown: ensure Developer mode is enabled.
  • Extension not visible in Meet: pin the extension from Chrome’s extension menu, then reopen Meet.
  • Participant cannot complete authentication: resend the copied message and confirm the participant opens the latest link.
